Allah said in the Holy Quran chapter 17 - Al Hajj verse 78 : " Strive hard in Allah's Cause as you ought to strive.  He has chosen you and has not laid upon you in religion any hardships, it is the religion of your father Ibrahim.  It is He Who has named you Muslims before and in this (Quran),  that the Messenger (Muhammad saw) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind.  So perform As-Shalat, give Zakat and hold fast to Allah.  He is your Maula, what an excellent Maula and what an excellent Helper!

Allah swt in His blessed book in surah An Naas (chapter 114 verses 1 -3) commanded us to take refuge :

1.         to the Lord of men

2.         to the King of men

3.         to the God of men

If we ponder and reflect our life cycle and chart of our level of servitude to Allah swt, we will begin to wonder why our level of servitude is very low and filled with extensive impurities that we should be shameful of ourselves to be a muslim.  So what went wrong and how can we align ourselves back to the track approaching the one path (the sirat).

We do not doubt that Allah swt is our God and is our intention to submit to Him and Him alone.  However, more often then not, what we do is not what we intend to do and what we do not do is what we do not intend to do.  Allah swt is our Lord, is our King and is our God. 

Allah Lordship encompasses all the administration in our life.  We seek refuge to Allah swt as the Lord that administer our lives and guide us to the path.  Allah swt Kingship reflect a master and servant relationship.  As a servant to the Master, we perform sincerely and wholeheartedly what we are commanded to do.  Allah swt is our God, the Creator of the universe and all that exist in the universe and to Him and Him alone do we submit.

Defeat the satan and stabilize your own inner energy in struggling toward that ultimate attainment: of a sound heart (the Qalb-e Saleem) and take refuge to the Lord of men, to the King of men and to the God of men.

Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see.  Then, He rose above (Istawa) the Throne.  He has subjected the sun and the moon (to continue going round) , each running (its course) for a term appointed.  He manages and regulates all affairs; He explains the Ayat in detail, that you may believe with certainty in the Meeting with your Lord.  (Quran 13:2)

"Am I to desire someone other than Allah as a judge when it is He Who has sent down the Book to you clarifying everything?" Those We have given the Book know that it has been sent down from your Lord with truth, so on no account be among the doubters. (Surat al-An'am: 114)

"The Messenger says: 'My Lord, my people treat this Qur'an as something to be ignored'" (Surat al-Furqan: 30).

"We have not neglected anything in the Book" (Surat al-An'am: 38)

"We have sent down the Book to you making all things clear and as guidance and mercy and good news for the Muslims" (Surat an-Nahl: 89).

An accurate perception of Islam and the correct understanding of its verses are essential for those who seek to be guided by it. In this respect, it is one of the most important duties of every Muslim who has wisdom, a conscience, and common sense to convey its message to all people.

Allah has promised the believers - men and women, Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn.  But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah.  That is the supreme success.  ( Surah At Taubah 9:72 ).

Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allah's Cause, so they kill and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat and the Injil and the Quran. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success. ( Surah At Taubah 9: 111 )

Imagine in a game of futsal 5 a side where 1 side all 5 are star players world class and their opponents are 5 players from a remote village look fragile and weak.  What do u think is going to happen.  Well.. the star studed team should be able to steam roll over their opponents with ease without having to have to work hard.  Now.. at the end of the game if the star studded team lose..  everybody will be wondering what possibly could have gone wrong.  How is it possible for such thing to happen?  Kai fatak furu (in arabic).. how can that be?

In another scenario, there will be many men and women, boys and girls that will end up in jahannam.  The malaikah  wonder..  but have you done you do not get Allah mercy to take them to jannah!!  After all, Allah is oft forgiving .. between solat to solat, between Jumaah to Jumaah, between Ramadhan to Ramadhan, and once in your life time to perform Hajj and be born like a new born baby..  how bad can you be that you do not earn that mercy and forgiveness.  OR maybe ... we never bother to ask for Allah's mercy and forgiveness.  All the ibadah we do are not ibadah in its essence.  Yeahh I think so.. We got so tight up in dunia that for their whole life we never ask for mercy and forgiveness.. It looks like we do but in essence we do not.. besides our evil deeds.  Why can't we have a moment of realisation and awareness and seek Allah mercy and forgiveness?  Is it that difficult to say Allah is the Lord of mankind (Kul a' uu zubirabinnas): The King of mankind ( malikinnas); the God of mankind ( ilahinnas ) Is it that difficult or heavy burden OR is it we are just the worst lot there are.

Who do u want to blame?  Shaitan?  Shaitan only whisper and there is nothing much else shaitan can do.  Are we human too weak that we cannot overcome an evil whisper from shaitan?  But Allah say we are created in the best of mold.  All the malaikah and shayatin supposed to prostrate to Adam in order to get close to Allah.  On top of that Allah has equipped us with the Quran as our weapon to subdue the shaitan?  Do we use our weapon when we face our clear enemy shaitan?    Well...  we have the power to choose and more often than not we never use the weapon Allah bestow upon us.  Do we read the Quran?  Do we try to try to understand the messages embedded in the Quran?  Is it a burden and difficult to read Quran with understanding?  

Is it sufficient we take the deen in a part time basis and we focus in our dunia job on a full time basis and we perform the solah only when we have the time to do so.  Often we allocate time for our worldly job over and above time for our ibadah.

Say (O Muhammad saw): " I am only a man like you.  It has been revealed to me that your God is One God.  So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord. (Quran 18:110)"  Now lets take the deen seriously as our full time job...Wama taufiki ilabillah .. (Quran 11:88)  my success can only come from ALLAH. 

Fiamanallah

Last part of verse 20 of chapter 73 surah Al Muzammil Allah Taala commanded us to recite as much of the Quran as may be easy, and perform As Salat and give Zakat, and lend to Allah a goodly loan. 

Surah Al Waqiah, chapter 56 of the holy Quran stated that there will be 3 category of people in the day of judgement.  I group is the Ashabul Yamin; another group the Ashabul Shimal and the 3rd group the Assabiqunassabiqun.  Now who are the Assabiqunassabiqun?

Surah al qiyamah really move our hearts make us wonder and contemplate how is it going to be when the soul reaches the collar bone... who can cure and save us from death!!! Today in this world there is always somebody to turn to to get help...from our mother, father, relatives, friends but in that moment when we know that we are going to depart for the herafter we will also know that nothing can save us except ALLAH JJH. WHy do we have to have that notion when death is coming? Wouldn't be the command of ALLAH to in our living to always turn to ALLAH... seek refuge only to Him and Him alone. This is deen that we should follow. May Allah gives us guidance and hidayah to walk towards Him and to know Him. Jazakallah..
